Padel court maintenance

In short

A well-built padel court requires limited maintenance. Typical work involves care and regeneration of the synthetic grass surface (brushing, infill top-up, cleaning) and, in case of breakage, replacement of the tempered glass.

Routine maintenance

A well-built court requires limited but regular care. Most of it concerns the playing surface.

  • Periodic brushing of the surface, to keep the infill evenly distributed.
  • Infill top-up when needed, based on usage.
  • Cleaning of leaves, dust and debris.

Regular care preserves playing performance and lifespan.

Synthetic grass surfaces

The surface comes in several types of synthetic grass — fibrillated, monofilament, texturised — with slightly different behaviour in grip and bounce. Deeper regeneration depends on usage intensity and surface type.

Tempered glass

Tempered glass is robust; in case of breakage, panes are replaced individually, without touching the whole wall. It is an advantage in terms of cost and time.

The role of after-sales

With a supplier offering support, extraordinary maintenance — including glass and surface replacement — is part of the service. TP Padel's after-sales comes from the same supply chain that produces the court: tell us about your facility.

Frequently asked questions

How much maintenance does a padel court require?

Limited routine maintenance: periodic brushing of the surface, infill top-up and cleaning. Regular care preserves performance and lifespan.

How often should the surface be regenerated?

It depends on usage intensity and surface type (fibrillated, monofilament, texturised). Brushing is periodic; deeper regeneration should be assessed case by case.

What happens if a pane of glass breaks?

Tempered glass panes are replaced individually. With a supplier offering after-sales, the replacement is part of the service.
